Escape Danger First
In times of danger, I have found that there are two vital functions I must perform. The first is to escape from the danger. The second is to make a hasty decision as to what to do next.
I wonder how often I have suffered needlessly as a result of unnecessary emotions I have harbored over the term of my life.
I have never experienced complete stillness in my life before. The reason for this is that I can still hear my heartbeat. I am grateful for this.
It could just be that being in the present, in all circumstances, is more rewarding than being drowned in thoughts of my past and concerns for my future.
