“Lust is temporary, romance can be nice, but love is the most important thing of all. Because without love, lust and romance will always be short-lived.”
― Danielle Steel
As a youth, romance was a key issue in my life. Some years later I began to realize the truth of my romancing. It was simply a way of satiating the lust within me. So tight was the grip of lust that I found I became narcissistic and in some cases codependent on the various partners in my affairs. It took me far too many years to wake up to what true love was really all about. I came to learn that true love was about respect and trust; putting your loved one before yourself always.
